The man has as many admirers as detractors.
ReplyDeleteTrue!
DeleteNice haiku. I am not as familiar with Modi but I am certainly intrigued and would like to read more.
ReplyDeleteSure. Narendra Modi is a plotical leader in India, currently chief minister of a wonder state called Gujarat and an ideal candidate for Prime Minster of the country. You can read about him here- http://www.narendramodi.in/ and here- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narendra_Modi.
DeleteGreat Haiku =) I am afraid I am not familiar with Modi either
ReplyDeleteThanks and no worry. You too can refer this link- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narendra_Modi.
DeleteYes. His time has come. NaMo Narayana.
ReplyDeleteSome call him god and some devil. He is between these two extremes.
ReplyDeleteI wonder why is her called devil when he had done so much good for Gujarat. I guess he is devil only for congress. lolz.
DeleteA man hated and loved equally.
ReplyDeleteTrue! But his work shows unlike other fat bellies ministers n politician ammas!
DeleteYou can love him or you can hate him… nothing in between!
ReplyDeleteTrue! I neither love him, nor hate him...I am just waiting to see him continue doing good as he did for Gujarat, for India.
DeleteHe is shrewd, insecure, ruthless, and relentless in pursuing his goal.
ReplyDeleteLike the Sun takes away the water even from gutter and filthy drains, one should pick up the good traits from even the worst detractors. One can learn relentless focus from him and hopefully use it for good things.
Agree!
DeleteSo true! His time has come. Let's C how does he face and what score he gets!
ReplyDeleteYes! Let's cheer for him!
DeleteBut can he lead India?
ReplyDeleteIf congress can, lets hope he too can.
Deleteand I'm confused about him...can't comment on him!

Yes, his time has come.........nice haiku Ekta. if im not wrong, the first line has four syllables. is it ok if we do not follow the traditional meter of 5-7-5 while writing a haiku in english?
Yup... its fine. Traditionally haiku is written for nature n things around it. Here I used it for all together diff prompt. So little bit of change is good though not all the time:)
