ReplyDeletequite contrary to the rest of my generation, i have always enjoyed classical music, especially hindustani style. and i have loved flute always… one of my closest friends is an extremely good flute player. wish i could attend though.. missing my SPIC MACAY days
i have always loved listening to music, and classical music with its sweet tunes and soothing melodies has always attracted me. However far the remixes and the latest electronic music may take the world, there will always remain a classical music enthusiast in me...
ReplyDeleteThanks Karan & Aersh!

DeleteHi Ekta,
ReplyDeleteThis seems to be an excellent give-away. It is really appreciable that youngsters like you are keeping keen interest in Indian classical music. It has been years that I have not been to RangSharda, I hope they are maintaining the same old culture there.
I also hope you are enjoying your stay in Mumbai.

DeleteHi Ekta, Thanks a lot for the invitation again. Unfortunately, I could not make it there but I hope you all enjoyed the event.
DeleteIt was a wonderful concert Suhas. The music, the pahadi raag, the jugal bandi, the saraswati vandana were all truly Awe-inspiring! Pt. Chaurasia is such a down to earth person. I couldn't meet Dr Srikant though but his rendition of "Saraswti" was out of world!
