"Crying In The Rain"

January 28, 2009 , 9 Comments

It's about an ethnic thought i came across few years back, supposedly from Mr. Chaplin' philosophical bucket...It abrubtly conveyed that the best way to conceal your precious pearl away from the awry eyes of this otherwise blind, deaf and dumb world, is to cry in the rain.
It's an experience that i've never let apart, never let any conflict to compare itself with. Come on now dont't start speculating on my pvt space, am too busy to sob sob..
Its just a thought worth sharing.
It seems to be quite sometime since i poured anything to my "tintinabulations". Its actually am not ready with anything new. So, here splashing back with one favorite lyrics of a song written by Carole King and Howie Greenfield [Dec 1961], to tell you that am still alive and kicking [not weeping] :-)
And yeah, it's not raining in Kolkata :)
I'll never let you see
The way my broken heart is hurtin' me
I've got my pride and I know how to hide
All my sorrow and pain
I'll do my cryin' in the rain

If I wait for cloudy skies
You won't know the rain from the tears in my eyes
You'll never know that I still love you so
Though the heartaches remain
I'll do my cryin' in the rain

Rain drops fallin' from heaven
Could never wash away my misery
But since we're not together
I look for stormy weather
To hide these tears I hope you'll never see
Some day when my cryin's done
I'm gonna wear a smile and walk in the sun
I may be a fool but till then darling you'll
Never see me complain
I'll do my cryin' in the rain
I'll do my cryin' in the rain
I'll do my cryin' in the rain
