Tale of Three Friends- Amar, Akbar and Anthony

December 09, 2013 , 15 Comments

Amar, Akbar & Anthony were three friends. Amar, a super cop, known for his grit and gumption. Akbar, a Rock-star that swoon many a hearts with his slick style and sensational numbers. Anthony, the dark horse of all was a poet who idolized the great Rumi.
One day, the all three met up for a zulu party and started talking about their love lives. Amar said how women love the men in uniform but given his pressure at work, he is unable to find time to mingle with them. Anthony tells about this ravishing uptown girl Cyndi who has a mole on her right lip. How every time he try to approach her, she rather ignores him and leave the place with her friend Ranjit. “I am tall, dark and handsome. What do I lack to win Cyndi over”?
Akbar, was listening to their talk with rapt attention. He smiled and asked Amar to take time from his work for love. He advises Anthony to make a new beginning tomorrow with a fresh face. “Fresh face”? asked Anthony. Akbar told him to go home and wait.
The doorbell at Anthony’s house rings and ‘he was surprised to see a parcel with his name on it.’ It read- Happy Face! Anthony opens the parcel to find a cool shaver inside it. It was already time for mass at church so without wasting time he took the shaver and shaved his smelly stubble, wore new cloths and went to church.
Post prayer when he met Cyndi, she couldn't ignore him. Her eyes were fixated upon his face. “His clean shaven look bowled her over” and she agrees to go for a date with him.
Yippee Anthony’s day was made. Stay tuned for more updates.
